Grief Counseling For
Spousal Loss

This isn't how it was supposed to go. You and your partner were supposed to walk through this life together. And now you're feeling like you have to walk through your life alone as well as embark on this new grief journey. Your partner was your other half and you're feeling lost and uncertain about whom you are without them. You're navigating your days lacking direction for the fact that you no longer know who you are or what you want. You're wondering "How do I not only grieve my partner but also grieve the life we were supposed to have? And then figure out what I want my new life to look like? I don't want to do it!"

You're feeling overwhelmed by these thoughts and what this means for you moving forward. You have days you want to curl up, shut everyone out, and forget about everything. Other days are filled to the brim with all sorts of life things so you're distracted and don't have to face all that's come with losing your spouse. Whichever way you're navigating it all, you're exhausted and don't want to do it anymore.

Of course you're exhausted! This is a lot to carry especially when the person who would bare the burden with you is no longer here. It's hard to find the motivation to do the work when you don't want to be in this position in the first place.

I can help! In creating a safe space, I will guide you through beginning to honor your grief journey allowing you to explore who you are and what your life will look like with this loss in your life.

Life After Grief Counseling
For Spousal Loss

Imagine no longer lacking direction and having a clear vision on how you intend to live life while carrying this loss with you. Imagine navigating this rewritten future as the rediscovered version of you. The you that is comprised of pieces of who you were prior to the loss and pieces of who you are now. The you that has developed and engages in a beautiful connection with your deceased spouse, leaving you feeling as though you are still walking through this life together...just in a different way.

Picture having restored energy as you are no longer being drained from asking yourself those questions about your future. What might you do with that energy? Where might you channel it? Think about the possibility of having energy left over (or new energy) to put towards something in your rewritten future. Maybe a new goal or towards the thing that's going to allow you to carry on the legacy of your spouse.

There are so many possibilities for you to explore that can have you feeling hopeful and connected to your spouse. Are you ready to explore what those possibilities are? Are you ready to rediscover you and feel connected to your spouse?
